A couple years ago, I was at a time in my life where I felt like I really had nobody to talk to. Not because I didn't have friends or family surrounding me, but because I felt suspicious of everybody... I didn't want to trust anyone.
During the days I spent isolated by myself, I sat at my computer with a notebook and a pen and searched for quotes that I liked to write on a piece of paper and stick to my wall.
Oddly enough, random words written on paper helped me somehow. They were like little bits of wisdom that were scattered all about my room.
Today, in one of my many boxes of memories, I found a folded up piece of notebook paper with this quote written on it.
I liked it so much that I re-wrote it (far prettier than my handwriting once was) and couldn't help but feel inspired by the words.
It's a simple concept, really, but a strong message:
"Think with an open mind, love with an open heart"
