I've always found it easiest to think freely when I'm at the beach. Perhaps it's the sound of waves, or the placidity of it all. Whatever the reason, the beach works wonders with my mind almost as if it's more than water and sand.
Mother Nature perhaps?

Nice concept and it does convey a sense of detachment from lifes daily problems and issues and a sense of freedom 
so well seen and captured here. On the technical aspects the composition looks good to me, the exposure though could do with some upping and probably the post processing could be done better, while the vignette at the edges does focus onto the man it also takes away from the happy thought behind the image by giving it a darker look i would also probably try and crop a bit off the top since there is'nt anything in the sky there to strengthen the image ...
